Pismo Beach / Calif / Central Coast / USA

The passing clouds made for a really nice scene on this evening. With the ND filter attached and the exposure just long enough to make that nice milky flow with the water I got a shot I'm pretty proud of. The tides were rushing in and out and I had to keep on the move since I really didn't feel like getting drenched that night.

Thanks a bunch! Well, the tripod keeps things pretty stable so the sharpness of the finished pic is perfect. Even though my tripod is pretty horrible. And in the processing I sharpened it just a tad for "web posting". The color is as it appeared on the evening. My ND filter I used darkens the sky a bid and adds a slight tint to it. But it was not altered in anyway. I saturated the colors just a tad to bring them out. I don't like to alter my photos. Only correct them. :)

how does one achieve such crisp clear sharp clouds? and how do you retain such color? Marvelous.
