I love this area so much, its close to the road but at the same time has that secluded "wild" feel to it. As far as i know it has no official name and should stay that way. Nearby San Carpoforo creek overflows over the beach and into the ocean. Last February I climbed over the rocks in the distance and photographed a full moon rising over the Santa Lucia.
Access to these places will not last forever. I already saw a newly planted "No Tresspassing" sign on another trail in San Simeon. Most of the trails are only marked by a couple pieces of wood and a small dark pathway leading into the dense Cyprus or thicket. To truly see this place one needs to get off the PCH and do a little exploring.
