Hey guys and girls, just wanted to think all of you for your kind comments and support! Photography is my passion in life and one of my greatest joys is sharing the beauty of nature with all of you. I try and reach as many people as possible but it ain't easy. I recently started a Facebook page for my photography. Just something simple and modest for now. But I do have additional info on prints that may be available. How are the poppies at Montana del Oro right now ? I have an option of going there, or to Santa Ynez, during the next weekend, but I have to pick one :-/

The poppies are pretty good in a couple areas. I havent checked out the Point Buchon trail yet but they usually grow all over the mountain sides there. Not sure how Santa Ynez is yet. :)

Yikes, I guess I'd better get out there soon. What do you think, are the poppies at (or past) their peak, or can I wait until next weekend ?

You can prob wait till next weekend. We just got a slight rainfall last night and with a few good days of sunshine more should open so that might be perfect. I'll prb be out there this weekend regaurdless. :)
